Join us at the library for the first annual Egg Drop on Saturday, April 11! Come into the library between 9-11:45am to secure your egg. The secured eggs will be dropped from the roof at 12:00 MST.

All materials will be available at the library. Eggs, packing material, boxes, etc. If you have specific items you’d like to make (parachute, decor for the outside of your containment, etc.) bring that to the library the day of.

This will be SO FUN, and is available for ALL ages, toddler to adult 😉

The Dunn County NDSU Extension Office has partnered with the Halliday Public Library to host our first of many crafting nights! Christy will present on Mental Health, Kirsten will give some helpful composting tips, and then the seed snail activity will be provided by the library!

What is a seed snail you ask? Seed snails are a popular, new way to start your garden vegetables and flowers indoors, and it saves space! They hold many seedlings in one roll, encourage strong root growth, and are easy to transplant!

Event will start at 6:00 pm MST at the Halliday Public Library. Please use the front door, it will be the only one unlocked.
