What a fun month April is going to be! There are multiple things happening throughout the library during the month of April.

Passive Programs:
– Easter Egg Hunt 3/30 – 4/6/26
An egg-citing scavenger hunt around the library looking for all of the hidden eggs!

– What’s in the Egg? 3/30 – 4/6/26
Shake the eggs to guess what’s inside!


Events:
– April 11: 1st Annual Egg Drop
Come secure your egg at the library from 9:00 – 11:45am. Secured eggs will be dropped from the roof at 12:00!
All supplies will be provided (eggs, packing materials, etc.), unless you have specific items you’d like to use for packaging: parachute, sponges, toilet paper rolls, etc.
FREE for all ages, toddler to adult!

– April 23: Seed Snail Workshop
The Halliday Public Library has partnered with the Dunn County NDSU Extension Agency to host our first of many crafting nights! Christy, NDSU Extension Agent, will give a little insight on mental health, Kirsten, NDSU Extension Agent, will give some helpful composting tips, and the seed snail activity will be provided by the library!
Registration is recommended – the event is completely FREE! 6:00 pm MST at the Halliday Public Library
